Johnson & Bell was founded in Chicago in 1976. It has grown to 120 attorneys in Chicago and Northwest Indiana. Few firms in the midwest have the litigation results that Johnson & Bell has achieved for its national business clients. Its lawyers have extensive experience in jury, bench and arbitration trials. American Lawyer's Corporate Counsel Magazine acknowledged the firm as one of the top 100 in the country in client satisfaction. Joseph M. Marconi is the chair of Johnson & Bell's Business Law & Litigation Group and co-chair of the Employment Law Group. Mr. Marconi handles and supervises complex business litigation, professional liability and employment law cases. Mr. Marconi is general counsel for the Illinois State Bar Association Mutual Insurance Company, which is owned and run by Illinois attorneys.
